Barrier Ex Ltd, a manufacturer of superior hazardous area products and services, has sponsored Newcastle College’s Energy Academy, by providing new workwear for its staff and lecturers.
The Wallsend-based business is part of the long-established Barrier Group, which has a track record of supporting education initiatives within the North Tyneside business community.
The Energy Academy, also based in Wallsend, is a centre of innovation, training and provider of further and higher education for the region’s energy sector, with more than 180 students currently enrolled.
