Posted On 27th March 2019 By Hannah Cox

A new exhibition launched this week in historic art gallery Assembly House in Newcastle, which showcases work from Newcastle College’s BA (Hons) Fine Art, Foundation Diploma Fine Art, Extended Diploma Art and Design and Ceramics students.

The exhibition, titled New Myths, is a celebration of storytelling through the creative arts. Demonstrating the technical skill, dedication and limitless imagination of our students, viewers are invited to explore the gallery which spans two floors, and showcases the culmination of work from programmes this year.

The exhibition is showing at Assembly House until 28th March, between 10am – 2pm.

Watch the film below to see students Wade, Clover and Lauren discuss how it feels like to have their work displayed and what has inspired their work.
