Understanding Autism - Level 2 (Online)

Various start dates throughout the year. We will give you the next available start date in response to your application.

The resources will enable you to get an early start if you chose to do so.

You must be 19 or older and have a genuine interest in working in the health care sector.

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve an NCFE L2 Cert in Understanding Autism (DL)

• Introduction to autism
• Using a person-centred approach to support individuals with autism
• Communication and social interaction in individuals with autism
• Sensory processing, perception and cognition in individuals with autism
• Supporting positive behaviour in individuals with autism
• Supporting individuals with autism to live healthy and fulfilled lives

You can study this course online, or request to have the materials sent to you in the post.

You will receive assessment books and learning resources to complete, and you will be linked to a distance learning assessor who will guide you through the course.

Upon enrolment you will be invited to attend online lectures (typically one per unit) to further enrich and support your learning.
