Beauty Therapy - Level 2 (Part-Time)

• Level 1 Functional Skills or ESOL Level 1 if English is not your first language

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy.

You will be encouraged to gain a work experience placement or paid work in a salon. You may be expected to attend a realistic salon experience in our working Beauty salon" The Retreat"

A variety of guest speakers will be invited into your session to enhance your knowledge and experience of the beauty profession.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in Pro Beauty industry exhibitions, Centre Parcs education/Spa trip and an Alton Towers overnight spa trip.

English and maths are essential in the hair, beauty and make up industry to ensure excellent communication with clients, accurate bookings and payments, treatment and service costings, colour and product mixing ratios. These skills will be embedded into your course.

If English is your second language you may be required to sit an internal English test or be studying English at level 2. This will be discussed during the course presentation.

On successful completion of this course you can progress onto our Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. You may also wish to progress to a make up or hair course that we offer.
