Newcastle College University Centre held its first graduation dedicated to international students at Newcastle Civic Centre on Tuesday.
More than 200 students graduated from the MA in Business Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) surrounded by family, friends and the colleagues who have supported them during their studies.
Each ceremony welcomed a Student of the Year, who each closed the event with a speech to their fellow graduates about their experience with Newcastle College University Centre.
Akul Gupta, graduating with a Distinction from his MBA, said: "This journey has been nothing short of transformative. Coming from India with over a decade of work experience, I made the decision to leave behind a stable job and step into the unknown - to pursue an MBA, to learn, to grow, and to embrace a new adventure.
"Moving to the UK in December 2022 was exciting but equally daunting. But through all of it, I found warmth in the people around me - my classmates, my professors, and the wonderful friends I made along the way.
"A special thank you to the International Office team who provided exceptional assistance from my enrolment to the present day."
It was a fantastic event that showcased the real impact of NCUC and its international programmes.
