Hours: 40 hours/week

Role Overview
We are seeking Trainee HVAC Commissioning Engineers who are enthusiastic about starting a career in commissioning engineering. This role offers the first step towards becoming a fully qualified commissioning engineer, with hands-on experience and comprehensive support, including theoretical learning and mentorship from senior staff.
You will gain exposure to a wide variety of building projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and heritage developments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a meaningful, technical career with real progression prospects.
Key Responsibilities

Assist senior commissioning engineers with HVAC system start-ups and functional testing

Learn to operate air and water measurement tools

Develop understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning principles

Participate in technical training and workshops

Assist in preparing reports and commissioning documentation

Observe and assist in system troubleshooting and problem-solving

Input test data using digital tools

Work safely in compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation
