    Apprenticeship Description

    Are you ready to kickstart your career in metal fabrication with a company that values precision, safety, and craftsmanship? Almet Sheetmetal is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprentice to join our dynamic production team.

    What You'll Be Doing: 

    As an apprentice, you’ll report directly to the Production Manager or the Team Leader in their absence. Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Conducting inspection of fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy. 
    • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area, free from obstructions and trip hazards. 
    • Ensuring all tasks are completed within allocated time frames and budgets. 
    • Supporting the team in various fabrication processes including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. 

    Working Hours: 

    Monday – Thursday 7.45 -4.30 

    Friday 7.45 – 1.00 

    Skills We Are Looking For: 

    • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. 
    • Strong time management and organisational skills. 
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. 
    • Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment. 
    • Enthusiasm to learn and develop technical skills in metal fabrication 

    Progression Route: 

    Clear progression path for those who demonstrate skill and dedication. 

    YOU MUST HAVE 4 MINIMUM IN MATHS AND ENGLISH OR BE PREDICTED THESE GRADES.
