About the Role:

Sungold Auto Electrics is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician, specialising in Auto Electrics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in a specialist area of vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with electrical diagnostics, repairs, and installations on a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic checks on vehicles.

  • Assist colleagues with day-to-day vehicle repairs.

  • Work on a variety of electrical systems including:

    • Battery drains and charging systems

    • Window wipers and motors

    • ABS systems

    • Sat nav and multimedia systems

    • Reversing cameras and sensors

    • Other vehicle electrical components

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Follow company procedures and health & safety standards.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Candidate Requirements:

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Able to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and working in various conditions.

  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Team Player: Works well collaboratively with colleagues.

  • Willingness to Learn: Eager to develop new skills and technical knowledge.

  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to the role.
