    Apprenticeship Description

    We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and a keen willingness to learn at North East Conservatory Solutions Ltd. This is a full-time role as a Level 3 Machining Technician with opportunities for growth within the company upon completion of the apprenticeship. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate CNC machines for tasks such as cutting.
    • Load programs, workpieces, and configure initial settings into CNC machines.
    • Understand and follow task specifications and desired outcomes by reviewing technical drawings and other documentation.
    • Translate instructions into computer commands to ensure machines perform the correct functions.
    • Monitor machining operations and intervene in case of malfunctions, breakdowns, or errors during machining.
    • Maintain equipment, adhere to quality and safety standards, and keep detailed maintenance logs.
    • Produce machined pre-cut parts.
    • Inspect finished products to ensure quality

     

    Working Week:

    8 hours per day, 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday

    Requirements:

    You must have a Grade 4 or above in Maths and English to apply.
