Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care - Level 2 (Online)

Various start dates throughout the year. We will give you the next available start date in response to your application.

The resources will enable you to get an early start if you chose to do so.

• You must be aged 19+ on or before 31 July 2023.

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in HSC (DL).

• Understand medication and prescription
• Supply, storage and disposal of medication
• Understand the requirements for the safe administration of medication
• Record-keeping and audit processes for medication.

• Online or mailed paper-based options available.

You will receive assessment books and learning resources to complete, and you will be linked to a distance learning assessor who will guide you through the course.

Upon enrolment you will be invited to attend online lectures (typically one per unit) to further enrich and support your learning.

Upon successful completion of this course, you could progress onto Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care or CPD to support applications to roles within the NHS or school administration.
